I’m a Southern Baptist. My only connection to the Puritan Board is as a Regular Joe member.

We don’t predominate, but there seems to be a fair number of Baptist participants (and even the occasional SBC-er, such as myself).

My favorite line from the critique is: “Being myself a person familar to varying degrees with both biblical Hebrew and the modern Semitic tongue, Arabic…” In my experience, whenever someone says, “familiar to varying degrees” means “I know just enough to make a mess of things.”
